Bloco Mareados came about in February 2005 as a joke to people who felt a bit dizzy during the crossing to Ilha do Campestre. The revelry ended up becoming a tribute to the fishermen and canoes of the region. “The mareados are not going to sail, only those who have already sailed don't sail.”
