How to get to Praia do Forte<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Praia do Forte is 32 kilometers from downtown. It can be reached via Avenida Beira-Mar Norte, going up the CIC elevated road, following Avenida da Saudade until you reach the SC-401 (Jos\u00e9 Carlos Daux) highway. This highway connects the city center to the beaches of the north of the island.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Follow the highway straight until you reach the Jurer\u00ea Viaduct. Follow the signs, the route is usually well signposted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By car<\/strong>
Praia do Forte is in the north of Florian\u00f3polis Island, 32 km from the bridge and the center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once over the bridge, stay in one of the two right-hand lanes, heading towards Avenida Beira Mar and Norte da Ilha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just follow the signs to the north of the island and take the SC-401 to the Jurer\u00ea viaduct, where you should take the Rodovia Jornalista Maur\u00edcio Sirotski Sobrinho to Rod. Francisco Arcanjo Grillo in Jurer\u00ea Internacional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Turn right onto Av. das Lagostas. Then turn left onto Av. dos B\u00fazios until Serv. Jos\u00e9 Cardoso de Oliveira.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Go up the hill to the left and follow it to the beach. Beware of vehicles coming from the opposite direction, as the road is narrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Buses<\/strong>
For those arriving by bus in Florian\u00f3polis, you should go to the Terminal Integrado do Centro (Ticen), which is 400m from the bus station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Go to platform C, where the urban buses leave for the Santo Ant\u00f4nio Integrated Terminal (Tisan).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you get to the Tisan, take another bus from Jurer\u00ea and get off at the final stop. You don't have to pay for a ticket again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately, on this route, you have to walk uphill or stay on Jurer\u00ea Internacional beach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
