An event held on the morning of March 14 at the headquarters of ACATE (Associação Catarinense de Tecnologia) brought together technology entrepreneurs from a wide range of sectors in Greater Florianópolis.
The reason for the meeting was to discuss the Governance and Innovation to consolidate, market and develop business at the 1st Future Governance Forum.
The word Innovation, the acronym ESG which refers to a set of standards and good practices that define whether a company is socially conscious, sustainable and properly managed, and Compliance were the most cited at the event.
The program included a welcome from Acate's innovation director, Silvio Kotujansky, who presented the institution's success story with recent data on its operations in the state. .
This was followed by a talk by Gustavo Succi, founder of the Changing the Game Council (CMJ), who addressed the topic of Governance of the Future, pointing out that it was born to avoid conflicts in organizations.
“ESG can't be done without innovation. It's not enough to change the packaging, you need to act to change people's mindsets and attitudes, and for that technology is a means, not an end. Not to mention that administrative councils speed up this process,” he said.

First edition of the Forum in Santa Catarina
The forum brought a mix of lectures, panels, presentations of successful cases and lots of networking, promoting the practice of boards of directors and their challenges.
“The aim of the forum is to support companies to grow, from today's perspectives, bringing the strategic perspective of the successful methodologies that use Boards of Directors in their management,” said Gustavo Succi.
For Kotujansky, the event went further, “showing how the methodology is transforming businesses through the evolution of processes, bringing practical benefits to the corporate governance of our ever-growing companies”.
During the event, a new type of board of directors was presented, the shared board, a methodology created, validated and applied in Brazil by CMJ.
