Trails are present in several places on Lagoinha beach.

The Lagoinha Sea

The sea at Lagoinha do Norte is open with clear, calm waters, ideal for those who want to relax and enjoy a swim without strong waves.

The beach stands out for its semicircle shape, which is protected by thick vegetation at both ends.

This unique shape makes the waters of the beach calm and warm, and the depth gradually deepens.

The firm, light yellow sand is perfect for walking.

History of Lagoinha do Norte

The history of Lagoinha do Norte dates back to the 18th century, when the beach was used as a port for the export of manioc flour and other agricultural products from the region.

In addition to manioc cultivation, corn and coffee were also grown here

Over time, the beach became a resting place for the locals, who spent hours fishing and relaxing on the shore.

This beach is surrounded by native vegetation and is home to a wide variety of animals such as birds, turtles and crabs.

You can also find a small freshwater lagoon at the northern end of the beach, which adds to the charm of the place.

Brava, Lagoinha and Ponta

Praia da Lagoinha do Norte, like Praia da Ponta das Canas and Praia Brava, is part of the northern region of the island of Santa Catarina, in Florianópolis.

Ponta das Canas Beach, on the other hand, is a busier beach with more infrastructure options, such as bars, restaurants and lodgings, and is popular with tourists and visitors, as well as being a starting point for boat trips around the region.

Finally, Praia Brava is a beach with strong waves and frequented by surfers, as well as having a tourist infrastructure more geared towards young people and sportspeople.
